Editing, Motion Graphics and Effects, Cinematography

Why did you get involved with Cinematic Artists of Norman?

I worked as DP on the film ’1 in 3′. Many of the crew members on the film were founding members of CAN and I just kind of got swept into it. CAN has been a great way to stay connected with the friends I made and meet some new filmmakers as well.

What is your dream job?

My dream job would be between a Hollywood Cinematographer and a wildlife videographer/photographer for National Geographic or some other such organization. Having a job that allowed me travel to exotic places and see amazing things would be a dream come true. That isn’t to say that I don’t enjoy working in advertising. It is rewarding in its own ways, but the opportunity to see amazing things and be involved with amazing films is what drew me to this business in the first place.

Aladdin

What are your top 3 favorite films and why?

I can’t claim any favorite movies without giving a four page description and I definitely can’t narrow it down to just three movies. I may just have to pass on this question.

Why is Oklahoma the best place to be a filmmaker?

Oklahoma is beautiful, inexpensive and friendly. There is little to no red tape here. If you want to make a film in Oklahoma just pick up a camera and do it.

What projects are you working on now?

I’ve got several commercial projects in the works, including a campaign for South Florida State College. I’m also producing a short film ‘The Idea Men’ this summer and I’m working on the script for a, so far untitled, Sci-Fi feature.
