DEADLINE: FRIDAY, JUNE 3 AT 5 P.M.

BEHIND THE ARTIST is a series of videos produced by the Cinematic Artists of Norman that features all local artists and their talent. All types of art are welcome. The videos will be no longer than 5 minutes and will be shot depending on the crew and artist’s availability. The videos will be featured on the CAN website, Vimeo channel, Facebook, and Norman Arts Council website.

WHAT TO SUBMIT

• Complete and return the submission form, including examples of the artist’s work.
• Submit digital copies/examples of artwork. Images/files may either be e-mailed or provided on CD/DVD. Image files must be in JPEG or other standardized format with a resolution of greater than 300 dpi, and the name of the file must be the artist’s name, Ex: Frida_Kahlo.jpeg
• Please submit this form and all materials to Lauren Carter at can2ndfriday@gmail.com by Friday, June 3 at 5 p.m.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

• After reviewing the submission, the Cinematic Artist of Norman (CAN) executive board will determine if and when the artist will be contacted for the filming of the BEHIND THE ARTIST series. Artist’s participating in 2^nd Friday will be given priority.
• Artists will be notified of this decision within 1 week after submitting work.

WHEN & WHERE?

• CAN will screen the BEHIND THE ARTIST series during the fall of 2011 during the 2^nd Friday Circuit of Art.
• Dates for shooting the series will be determined and all participants will be notified at a later date of the specific time and location of each shoot.

*Please note that you are more than welcome to nominate someone else, as well as yourself. There is no limit for nominations.
